New York Natural Gas Choice Program
In November 1998 legislation was published by the New York Public Service Commission (NYPSC) to allow the unbundling of services (Deregulation) that allow residential and commercial Natural Gas customers to have a “Choice” of their own supplier. In 2009 there were 11 natural gas utilities, listed above, participating in the program.
